The Early Years Programme at Steinmont is designed to lay the foundations for a love of lifelong learning. Through our child-centered approach, your child will be given the opportunity to drive their own learning and follow their interests, whilst developing key strengths and abilities. Your child will be engaged in play-based experiences that allow them to make connections to what they already know and encouraged to ask questions, reflect, and update their understanding of society and the world around them.

Providing an engaging, developmentally appropriate and safe learning environment that supports each child’s natural curiosity is integral to everything we do at Steinmont.

We recognize and value that your child’s emotional and social well-being is shaped from a very early age. We also know that your child is most likely to become a confident learner when in an environment in which they feel secure to express themselves without fear of judgment.

We create this safe space in our kindergarten classes (Pre-K – KG2). This allows the full-time teacher and teaching partner in your child’s class to get to know your child and tailor activities to their individual needs to bring out the best in them.
