Parent – School Relationship

Dear Parents,

Your child is the most important person in our school and we are grateful to you for the trust reposed in us by you. Together we shall contribute to the growth and all around development of your child. Here is a checklist, which will help you in evaluating yourself periodically with regard to the co-operation and interest that you have put in to your child’s progress at school.

  • The co-operation of parents in all the affairs of the school is essential for the best conduct of the school.
  • Parents should take special attention to ensure that their children prepare their lessons well, do the homework regularly and come to school neatly dressed in their uniform.
  • Wearing of the school uniform is compulsory.
  • Students are forbidden to have gold ornaments in the school. There shall not be too much money or expensive things with them.
  • Teachers are not to be disturbed by the parents during class hours.
  • Complaints, if any, should be communicated to the Principal.
  • The visitors to the teachers are restricted from 3.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. on all Fridays.
  • Terminal examinations and mid-term examinations are compulsory for all the students. There will not be any re-examination.
  • Parents are specially requested to notify the school of their change of address and phone numbers if any.
  • Any loss or damage to the property of the school will be made good from the parents concerned.
  • Servants who bring the students or their lunch to the school shall not enter the classrooms.
  • No vehicles will be allowed to enter the school compound during school hours.
  • It is desirable to have names marked on the bags or possessions of the students.
  • All students must be present on the first day when the school
    Re-opens for each term.
  • Parents should go through the school diary everyday
  • In addition, sign all the notices and messages.
  • To avoid a heavy load of work at the time of examinations for your son/daughter, you are requested to

    A) Prepare a study timetable for him/her, and see that whether he/she works at least 3 hours a day.

    B) Supervise all his/her written work at least once a week.

  • Students who are seen suffering from any serious contagious / infectious diseases will not be permitted to attend the class.
